This year we are offering our Jack Frost ski trip to family and friends of Pack 131, Pack 331, Troop 131 and Troop 331. Please join us.

The ski trip is Saturday and Sunday February 10th and 11th, 2018 at the Jack Frost Ski Resort in the Pocono’s. Sunday is one of the resort's special Scouting Sunday package rates. We will meet at Jack Frost.

The Sunday cost is $50 per person for an ALL AREA package which includes an unrestricted lift ticket, ski/snowboard RENTAL (must be 6 or older to snowboard), AND a group lesson. This is a good deal for learning!

You must be 8 years old or older for group lessons: a three hour beginners group lesson from 9-12 or 1-4, or a one hour lesson for intermediate and advanced from either 10-11 or 2-3. There is a 42" height restriction to participate in snowtubing. There is also a snow monster program (child care with ski time) for ages 3 to 10. I have seen boys 6 to 10 years old essentially in a private snowboarding lesson cause they were the only person that age and skill set... Snowmonsters is expensive but sometimes you luck out!

We are also offering tickets for Saturday February 10th (at the group rate, just not as good as Scout Sunday) for those wishing to make it a week-end. We need to get 15 tickets sold to get the group rates so talk your friends into going too! Many folks stay at the nearby Blakeslee Best Western just off I80 and Rt 115. Try the AAA rate.

Please make sure you book the right tickets (SATURDAY and/or SUNDAY). Sorry for all the combinations but we need to know what each skier is exactly wanting and doing so we may easily obtain and quickly distribute the tickets. The options are lift ticket, with or without rentals, with or without lessons, and with or without helmets.

Snow Tubing: This year there is an additional option for a snow tubing add-on for $10; however, it must be purchased in combo with a snow pass for the same day. A good deal which allows for snow tubing any time of the day; however, please note, you can not snow tube while wearing Ski boots! This is a good option if you just want to try tubing.

If you are snow tubing, you must fill out and return a release form IN ADVANCE of us being able to pick up your tickets. (You will be sent one after you purchase the tickets closer to the event). Please give an email address to Eventbrite that you check.

*Snow Monsters (ski or snowboard) packages are for kids only from 3 up to 10 years old and include lessons in a small group setting (e.g., ski day care).

*The “All Area package” is for ages 8 and above (depending on ability level). The beginner lessons consist of a series of lesson stations that you complete on your own. The intermediate and advanced lessons are regular 1-hour sessions grouped by ability.

**IMPORTANT** There will be no changes/additions made to your reservation once your tickets have been picked up. All tickets must be picked up from the Group Leader the morning of the event at Jack Frost. If you have a non-skier that can help us hand out tickets, please let us know.
